- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk (or buttermilk)
