  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • For the Dipping Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, then drain well.
  2. Mash the potatoes until smooth and let them cool slightly.
  3. Add the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and parsley.
  4. Mix until everything is fully combined and the potato mixture holds together.
  5. Scoop and roll the mixture into small balls.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat.
  7. Fry the potato balls in batches until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  8. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
  9. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, sriracha, and garlic powder for the dipping sauce.
  10. Sprinkle the hot potato balls with extra Parmesan and parsley, then serve with the sauce.
