  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Chili Garlic Sauce:
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic paste
  • 1 tsp minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Toss wings in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F.
  5. Fry wings in batches for 10–12 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Remove wings and drain on a wire rack or paper towels.
  7. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, chili garlic paste, and minced garlic.
  8. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  9. Toss fried wings in the chili garlic sauce until evenly coated.
  10. Garnish with chopped herbs if desired and serve hot with extra sauce for dipping.
