5-Minute Caramelized Banana Toast That Will Melt Your Heart

A sweet and satisfying breakfast toast topped with caramelized bananas and Greek yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 1 thick slice brioche or milk bread, toasted
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey, divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt, optional

Instructions

  1. Toast the brioche until lightly golden and crisp around the edges.
  2. Spread the Greek yogurt generously over the warm toast.
  3. Heat the butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the banana halves, cut side down, and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. Drizzle in 1 teaspoon of the honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Flip gently and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute, until the bananas are glossy and caramelized.
  7. Place the warm banana halves over the yogurt toast.
  8. Drizzle with the remaining honey and finish with a tiny pinch of flaky sea salt, if using.

  • Use ripe bananas for best caramelization.
  • Adjust honey quantity to your taste.
  • Serve immediately while warm.
